Great troubleshooting. Technician found issue with ABS harness and ABS system wired to midturn light

AUTH TA COMPLAINT PHILLIPS CONNECT APP CHECK CAUSE REQUEST FOR PHILLIPS CONNECT APP CHECK OF L IGHTING SYSTEM AES ADDITIOANLLY I FOUDN THAT WHEN TESTING THE BRAKE LIGHT CIRCUIT THE TOP PSOT IN THE SMART 7 BOX WAS RECIEVING POWER BUT THE BOTTOM POST WAS NOT RECIE VEING POWER THOUGH I FOUND THE BRAKE LIGHTS ON AND WORKING I ALSO FOUND THAT THE ABS LIGHT CAME ON ANS STAYED ON WHEN BRAKE CIRCUIT WAS TESTED INDICA TING AN ACTIVE FAUTL WITH IN THE ABS SYSTEM I WIL L NEED TO PERFORM MORE TESTING TO FIND REASON FOR THE BRAKE LIGHT CIRCUIT BOTTOEM POST NOT RECIEVING POWER AES ADDITIOANLLY I FOUDN THAT THE PURPLE POWER WIRE C ONNECTION WAS DAMGED THOUGH POWER POST WAS READING WITH SPEC FOR VOLTAGE I ALSO FOUDN A GROUND WIRE THAT HAD BURNS ON THE OUTER JACKET AES ADDITIOANLLY I FOUDN MORE WIRES WITH BURNS TO THE IR OOUTER JACKETS I REMOVED THE WIRE FROM THE LOW ER POST OF THE BRAKE CIRCUIT AND RETESTED POST AND FOUDN THAT POWER RETURNED TO POST WHEN I RETURNE D WIRE TO POST I FOUND THAT THERE AGAIN WAS A LOSS OF POWER WHEN POST WAS TESTED THE VOLTAHE DRAIN MAYBE WIRING BASED ONCE I RETURNED WIRE TO POST I FOUDN THAT THE BRAKE LIGHTS DID NO COME ON THOUGH THEY WERE ON BEFORE AES ADDITIOANLLY I FOUND MIDSHIP POWER HARNESS AND UN PLUGGED TO TEST TO SEE IF VOLTAGE DRAW WAS BEFORE OR AFTER MIDSHIP POINT I FOUDN AFTER UNPUGGING HR ANESS THAT WHEN LOWER BRAKE CIRCUIT POST WAS TESTE D FULL VOLTAGE WAS FOUND WHILE WIRE WAS CONNECTED INDICATING THAT VOLTAGE LOSS IS TO THE REAR OF THE UNIT I WILL NEED OT REMOVE REAR LIGTHS FOR TESTI NG AES ADDITIOANLLY I REMOVED LIGHTS AND ACCESSED THE RE AR HARNESS I UNPLUGGED REAR HARNESS AND FOUND THAT ONCE I PLUGGED IN MIDSHIP HARNESS TO TEST I FOUND THATT THE LOWER POST STILL HAD NO POWER I CHECKED ABS SYSTEM TO SEE IS ACTIVE FAULT WOULD INDICATE I SSUE I FOUND THAT MY SYSTEM WAS UNABLE TO READ ABS ECU I THEN FOUND THAT THE ABS HARNESS WAS CONNEC TED TO THE MIDSHIP HARNESS I UNPLUGGED ABS WIRING HARNESS AND FOUND THAT POWER RETURNED TO LOWER PO ST WITH BOTH THE REAR HARNESS AND THE MIDSHIP HARN ESS CONNECTED BUT WITH THE ABS HARNESS DISCONNECTD THE DRAINS OF BOLTAHE FROM LOWER POST IS COMING FR OM THE ABS HARNESS AES ADDITIOANLLY I PLUGGES ABS HARNESS IN AND FOLLOWE D IT TO THE POWER SIDE OF THE ABS ECU AND DISCONNE CTED HARNESS THERE AND RETESTED AND FOUDN THAT THE BOTTOM POST STILL HELD POWER INDICATING THAT THE ECU OF THE ABS SYSTEM MAY BE DRAWING POWER FROM BR AKE CIRCUIT POST THE BRAKE CIRCUIT IS CONNECTED T O THE ABS CIRCUIT FOR REGULAR TEST OF SYSTEM AS DR IVER PRESSES BRAKE PEDAL AES ADDITIOANLLY I FOLLOWED OUT ABS HARNESS TO ECU AN D FOUND THAT THE HARNESS WAS DAMAGED CAUSING ISSUE THE LIGHTING CICUIT IS NOW WORKING THOUGHT THE TRA ILER FAILS DUE TO THE ABS SSTEM NOT BEING ABLE TO PERFORME AN ABS CHECK WHEN THE BRAKE CIRCUIT IS PO WERED BY POWER UNIT THE ABS HARNESS WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED AND PHILLIPS CONNECT LIGHTING APP CHEC K RETESTED AES ADDITIONALLY PART WILL BE SOURCED AES ADDITIONALLY ANS ABS DIAGNOSTIC SHOULD BE PERFORM ED AFTER POWER HARNESS IS REPLACED TO ENSURE THAT SYSTEM IS FUNCTIONING AS DESIGNED BEFORE RETURNIG TO SERVICE AES
